Aleksandra Olenska  




Of Polish descent, Aleksandra Olenska was raised in the North of England.

Having read lots of books on her English Literature degree, and assisting at Dazed and Confused in the mid nineties, Aleksandra went on to hone her style on the MA at Central St Martins, where-upon her unique blend of research, styling and design  were immediately picked up by 10 magazine, Italian Vogue, W and Self Service amongst others. 

Aleksandras passion for libraries and flea markets forges a strong research base which informs her various fashion projects be they styling, consulting or drawing/customisings and accessories design. Her idiosyncratic approach has appeared on the catwalks of Clements Ribeiro, Peter Jensen and Roksander Ilncic to name a few; instillations for SHOWstudio; a line for TopShop, and consultancy for brands including Daks and Vanessa Bruno as well as on the pages of countless editorial. Her unique hand-appliqued stockings are sponsored by Swiss luxury hosiery company Fogal. As a stylist, Aleksandra is fashion Director at Exit, and her work has also appeared in Japanese Vogue, The Independent and Dazed and Confused.
Aleksandra's Polish heritage continually informs her work and she dreams of owning a little house by a lake and a forest in the depths of Eastern Europe.
